The Royal British Legion is an Armed Forces UK charity that is at the heart of a network that supports the armed forces community. They are the largest Armed Forces Charity in the UK with over 235,000 members and 110,000 volunteers.
The Royal British Legion has been supporting servicemen, women and ex-serving personnel and their families since 1921. The very first Poppy Appeal was held that same year and raised over £106,000 which at the time was a considerable amount. The poppies sold out almost immediately and the money raised helped WW1 veterans after the war with employment and housing.
Today The Royal British Legion help serving and ex-serving personnel around the clock, every day of the year. Their support starts after just 7 days of service and continues right through life and after with support to the families.

Cancer Research UK is a cancer research and awareness charity in the United Kingdom and Isle of Man. It formed on 4 February 2002 by the merger of The Cancer Research Campaign and the Imperial Cancer Research Fund.
At Cancer Research UK they pioneer research to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. They have no government funding, and so their progress depends on your donations and buying products from their shops. Now more than ever, Cancer Research needs your support. Covid-19 and lockdown put a stop to clinical trials with research labs closed and the machine that supports clinical trials switched to Covid-19 because of capacity in some hospitals.

Help the Heroes is a British charity that provide lifelong support to Service Personnel and Military Veterans with injuries, illnesses and wounds sustained while serving in the British Armed Forces.
