Fox and Fox are a boutique grower producer of Platinum medal award winning English sparkling wines. Their vineyards sit either side of Mayfield hilltop in the Sussex countryside. They have been growing vines since 2004 and producing wine since 2009. They now make award winning limited quantities of quality sparkling wines with a unique English twist. Between their two vineyards they produce Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris.
Fox and Fox make carefully crafted English sparkling wines that have all the quality of a fine Champagne, but with a unique English twist. Their wines are distinctive and they only use grapes that they grow themselves. Fox and Fox wines aquire their richness and fruit flavours from the long growing season, extended lees age and medium yielding burgundy clones.

Lovely creamy aromas balanced with aromatic strawberry notes. Great palate of fragrant stewed strawberries, red cherry and a hint of sour rhubarb. Long profound length, with minerality adding to the complexity.

Very young and vibrant with a mineral steeliness on the nose and a tense palate. Finishes well with some grip too.

Fox and Fox Mayfield, wine tastings can explore our range, compare and contrast different grapes and blends and consider the impact of seasonality on the vintage.
Vineyard visits include a bespoke wine tasting led by either Gerard Fox or Jonica Fox and start from £60 per person. Minimum 6 people, maximum 10 people. Visit dates are in limited supply so please book early.
